I entered the Downtown LA studio eager to meet the Designer, Reality Star (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Project Runway Jr.) and Beauty Guru that is Matt Sarafa. When first introduced, Matt was immediately vivacious, charismatic and completely true to who he is as a person and creative.

We clicked instantly and started our interview session before the cameras got rolling. The process was easy, swift and one of my favorites to date. I interviewed Matt about his new collection of jewelry FAKE as well as the impact RHBH (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) has had on his career.
The FAKE jewelry collection is completely affordable and meant to make your wrists, fingers and neckline SHINE. It's fun, ostentatious and desirable allowing the buyer to “ball on a budget.” I would describe the collection as glamorously edgy. It is versatile and youthful all while adding flavor to whoever is wearing it.

Matt explained the time, energy and passion behind the collection, all while juggling school as a full time student, influencer and popular designer. When I asked how he juggles it all he laughingly explained that in all honesty, “when I set my mind to it. I do it. And I can’t stop until it’s done.” This is the same attitude that birthed Matt’s collection of fur coats, first introduced on RHBH (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and took the world by storm. The debut of his fur collection on catapulted his career as a designer and garnered him a lot of well deserved attention. Though young, Matt is fully aware of what he wants and he isn’t afraid to go after it.

He explained that he wanted EVERYONE to feel powerful while wearing his pieces. That they feel unapologetic for being who they are and what they represent, regardless of gender or society's standards. I have a feeling he will be making his mark for many years to come!
